An absolute must for the chocoholic! Kelly (whose namesake had nothing to do with Saved By The Bell), was the pretty, first grade, red headed, keener who volunteered to show the new girl around school, offering the best-damn-no-bake-chocolate-coconut-oat cookie her Mom made her share called, “The Friendship Cookie”. Kelly was a rare breed and became quickly popular.
We aren’t friends with Kelly anymore. But, we still gorge on the cocoa, oat, coconut goodness in this granola version thinking of Kelly and the days of being on the path to borderline childhood obesity. The Kelly is a popular choice atop ice cream, juicy strawberries or shared with a new friend.
Tasting Notes
A chocolate lover's granola dream - sweet, but not too sweet. It’s like a bountiful, chocolate coated coconut candy bar, only loaded with antioxidant rich cocoa and nutty goodness. The healthy stuff mind-blows the eater into believing this chocolate loaded granola is a 'good addiction'.
